The S.S. Lane Victory is a memorial, museum, and fully operational WWII era cargo ship.  Her continued existence is not possible without the hard work, dedication and love of the volunteers who keep her looking good and running true.

Volunteers are needed in all departments.  Mariners-by-trade and land-lubbers alike are welcome.  Marine experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Work days are generally Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday but may vary by department.  Office and Giftshop volunteers are needed on a daily basis.

An associate USMMVWWII membership (or better) is required.  Membership includes a monthly Anchor Light publication and free admission to the ship while dockside.

Volunteers with 200 or more hours of service become members of the "Working Crew" and are eligible to work the summer cruises with approval of their respective department head.

Make new friends, learn new skills, hear the sea stories from Merchant Marine and Naval Armed Guard veterans.  Volunteer today!
